In the early prebaked anode production process, the phosphor pig iron melting equipment was mainly used in cupolas, with special assembly racks to complete the assembly of guide rods and carbon blocks, and since there was no special equipment for press-off of residual electrodes and phosphor rings, the residual electrodes and phosphor rings were separated by manual sledgehammer blows.
The equipment of modern anode assembly plant includes suspension chain conveying system, residue treatment system, press-off system, guide rod group treatment system, intermediate frequency furnace system, circulating water system, assembly station and pouring station system. This is a very complete set of assembly line production mode, efficient and convenient, industrialized production and assembly.
Among them, the suspension chain conveying system is the conveying machinery on the automatic production line of the anode assembly workshop, on which it passes through each process and mechanical equipment for automatic assembly.

The process of anode processing is mainly the disposal of residual anodes left over from the continuous consumption of carbon blocks in the production of aluminum in the electrolyzer and the assembly of waste into new anodes for the reproduction of the electrolyzer. So what is the whole set of treatment system and assembly machinery and how is it distributed? Let's take a closer look at the prebaked anode plant.
First of all, the process flow is roughly like this: the residual electrodes are transported from the electrolyzer through the loading and unloading station, crushed by the electrolyte cleaning machine, and then go to the next process, which is the shot blasting and pressure stripping of the residual electrodes, all of which is done by the PlC-controlled suspension chain conveyor and then by the shot blasting and pressure stripping machines. After removing the residual pole is the press-off and cleaning of the phosphorus iron ring, where the cleaning is separated by a roller, and then it is the repair of the cleaned guide rod and steel claw.

The repair work is the cleaning and straightening of the guide bar, the shot blasting and straightening of the steel claw, the repair for reuse, the machinery used is the shot blasting machine, the straightening machine and the cleaning and brushing machine. All this machinery and equipment are completed automation.
The next step is the start of the assembly, after the cleaning brush guide rod set through the graphite dipping machine, in the steel claw surface evenly dipped in graphite liquid. The graphite dipped steel jaws are dried by the online dryer and then await the next process of assembly.
The phosphor pig iron is used as the casting iron, whether its ratio meets the requirements is particularly important in the anode assembly process, it is related to the quality of the finished anode after assembly.
At this point, the anode assembly is basically completed, and the rest is to be inspected and then transported to the electrolysis workshop for production, which is a process of renewing the residual pole.
